Attorney Richard Vinette joined Hannon Lerner as "Of Counsel" in 2013. He has been a practicing attorney in Berkshire County since 1990 with an extensive practice that has included real estate, wills, trusts and estates, personal injury, landlord and tenant, employment and social security disability appeals. He speaks, reads and writes Spanish.
In 1996 Rich was hired as the executive director of the Lee Community Development Corporation. He was instrumental in taking the Lee CDC forward to develop programs and secure grant funding for a number of initiatives including the East Side Development Project. Rich has provided consulting services for a number of projects in Berkshire County including most recently economic development services for Mill Renaissance LLC with respect to a proposed $70 Million mixed use development at the former Eagle Mill in Lee.
Rich earned a Bachelor's Degree from Amherst College, where he graduated in 1982, then later earned his Juris Doctor degree from Western New England College School of Law in 1990. He was admitted to the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts and United States District Court of Massachusetts in 1990, and the United States Supreme Court in 1994.
Rich is a lifelong musician and plays guitar and piano. He is a board member of Berkshires Jazz, Inc., whose purpose is to present jazz performances and promote jazz education throughout Berkshire County.
